 About Us

Located in Silicon Valley, your local ESD Association Chapter strives for the advancement of the leading edge theory and practice of electrical overstress (EOS) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) engineering. We are dedicated to the understanding of issues related to electrical transients and electrical overstress, and the application of this knowledge to the solution of problems in consumer, industrial and military applications, including electronic components and manufacturing, as well as in systems, subsystems and equipment.

Founded in 1989, the Silicon Valley EOS/ESD Society is a nonprofit, unincorporated organization and a Chapter of the ESD Association.
